First up for me is a CD I downloaded at approx. 11:59 last night and have been listening to it ever since:
Hot Sauce Committee Part Two: Beastie Boys
First up, the Beasties are my favorite band so I was looking forward to this CD for a long time and surprisingly it doesn't disappoint despite a 2 year delay, making it 7 years since their last full release. Unlike To the 5 Boroughs, their last real record, Hot Sauce is much more upbeat, waaaaaay less political and just plain more fun. They incorporate their wealth of experience into an amalgamation of a record, with a sort of eastern dubstep punk feel to it. There are some weak spots, but they're more than overshadowed by the album's highlights.
Reccommended Tracks: Make Some Noise, Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win, Long Burn the Fire, Lee Majors Come Again, Here's a Little Something for Ya, (deluxe) Pop Your Balloon
