Mail question on General Discussions Message Board - Page 1

So I have this top-secret file that I can't and don't want to lose, and I want to keep it as long as I'm alive, I already got it on Hard-disk and a CD, but what I did lately is that I sent that file as an attachment from my Gmail to my Hotmail, and then saved the message I received in my hotmail to a folder there on my hotmail. If I came back after years, will it still be there on my mail?

It'll be there as long as your account is active. I remembered about an email account (Hotmail) I had about 10 years ago and I still have emails in there from back then.

My attachment is a .rar file, the same goes with those files too, right?

Hotmail usually deactivates your account after 60 days of non usage so keep logging in.
