Why use WinRAR anyway? 7-Zip does the exact same thing and the 7z compression is better.

Kind of a moot point... both those programs have free versions that do more than most people need them to anyhow.
But I agree. Sometimes I feel the #1 reason for piracy is stupid pricing. $60 for black ops? Geez. Might as well charge my first born to fill my car with gas. Once.
For 30 days they are. Then they get nagged to buy. But they use it that much you would think they would help by buying it to help further the development... but no.

Depends what is being compressed. Uharc is still the best overall.
People pirate games that cost less than 10euro? That's quite embarrassing.
It's embarrassing when people pirate games full stop considering the excuses.
"It costs too much". Well, tough ****. Save your money instead of demanding instant gratification.
"I was just trying it out to see if it's worth it". Nice try, but most games have demo versions, so this is a poor excuse. Also, so many people record themselves playing games that you could just look on YouTube and find out what the game play is like.
Not only that, but it's insulting to the developers that people are too cheap to buy their product and would rather steal it.
