Shogun 2: Total War Message Board  

No, not again please... that's what I thought when I saw the infamous yellow progress index near my Shogun 2 link in Steam. Yes, as many of you have already noticed, a new update has been released.

I didn't post this topic to ask "when will trainer be ready?", but to share a very simple idea: is it difficult to put in Steam a damn query windows that asks if "you want to update your game or not"... I mean it shouldn't be too difficult for the guys at Valve. And if they receive a lot of requests, they will be forced to do it, right?

So there's the idea: ask them for a delayable update in Steam games ALL TOGHETER!!!

What do you think about it? Feel free to comment as you want!

Oh, just to be precise: this is not against cheathappens, you guys do a great work as always and you changed my way of playing with PC since I subscribed the lifetime account!

Yep this annoys the hell out of me. Never mind trainer compatability i have no defence against the bug patch of doom!

But... our heros at CH just released the new trainer! Great as always!

Yes it is annoying how the updated happen. Like you said, the great people of this wonderful website have already put out the updated trainer.

under the properties for each game there is the option to turn off auto update for that game

And you REALLY think that works? if you do i would suggest you visit a psy.
