Patrician 4: Rise of a Dynasty Message Board  

It would be nice if there were some more useful options on this trainer. like...

Set minimum amount of Resources in warehouse
Max reputation in ALL cities
Infinite Health, Sails, and Sailors during pirate battles (I saw this on a cheat table for CoSMOS so I know it's possible)
Instant Research
Instant Ship Build

Does anyone know how to make a trainer with those options?

The ship editor only is pretty much useless on this one, you can change the speed and cargo, but more cannons and sailors doesn't make any difference. And when you restart the game all the changes are wiped.

I tryed everything from the troubleshooting guide put the game still crashes as soon as I activate the trainer

Hi there,
i know the Trainer is old but i really like this game and still wanna play it so...

i got a problem with the option number 5, what i do is:

1 i take a ship which is not in a convoy, for example a kraier, and press the 5 key

than i look i the values are correct and they are.

i change armor from 75000 to 750001 and current armor to 750000,
cannons to 120
and current men 700
with maximum men 701

then i press F1 and close the editor with the X

when i go back into my game and select the ship all the stats are changed to what i wanted.


NOW when i put the ship back into the convoy OR make a new convoy with this ship a couple of things happen.

1. there are no men on my ship any more and when i try to recruit new ones i can only take 70 even if there are still 701 people max mentioned

2. my ship is a lot faster but my armor is 75000/750000 und repairing causes a month or 2

3. if i open a new convoy with the selected ship a cannot attack pirats any more.

am i doing something wrong? is there perhaps any video guide of this trainer i could watch? there seem to be enough people who got this to work so perhaps you can help me.

Yes, you missed to read the readme/instructions:

Numpad 5: Ship Editor - works on ships NOT IN A CONVOY.

now iam confused...

i wrote that it had NOT BEEN IN A CONVOY so i dont understand your answer sorry.

and if you mean that i put it back into a convoys theres a simple fact and iam sure the creator of this trainer knows that....

you cant fight with ships that are not in a convoy marked as escort/convoy ships :/

iam not sure if this is a missunderstanding or you just overwrote this cause many before me had this problem but i did exactly what is writen in the trainer info...step by step

My bad, you're right. I had to read the instructions with 2 eyes and not being on medication.

Then my best guess here is that it's an old retail trainer (most posts are from 2011 / 2013) for a Steam version game that needs some proper handling aka a Steam version of the trainer.

How do you TURN OFF the market goods? Number Pad 4 turns it on, but pressing it again doesn't turn it off, X, F1 do not turn it off and it is then on for setting quantity to 1000 every time for the rest of the game.
