Actually, the lack of anything resembling Altair, Ezio or Desmond wouldn't make it fake, since it's confirmed that ACIII will have a new lead and new setting. It's fake, sure, but that's not why (apologies if I misunderstood what you meant though).

Still... I'm excited for it too, and though it's fake this makes me more excited to know the juicy details. Can't wait for the real promo's.

I believe she means that the person is not dressed like an Assassin.

True, that makes more sense.

Meh, even still, in AC and ACII, "robes" were pretty common place, so they'd blend in fairly well, though I still think Ezio stood out like a sore thumb sometimes in his Assassin's gear. If the third is indeed set during, or leading up to, the French Revolution, the typical Assassin's garb we've become used to would most certainly stand out. I wouldn't be surprised if they redesigned it somehow to fit the times.

I really want one thing from the next Assassin's Creed, and that is my PC to be able to play it.
