This game was really just Assassin's Creed 2.5. If AC3 is going to be the last game of the series, then I expect it to take place almost entirely outside of the Animus, which is why they were training Desmond with the bleeding effect in the first place.

So, if that's the case, no ACB 2 or 3. Just AC3.

Yeah, I think Brotherhood is more like an expansion than a full game personally. I forget whether or not AC was supposed to be a trilogy or longer. I'd like to have a full game running around the (in-game) modern world as Desmond, in the same way we've played as Ezio and Altair.

Knowing Ubisoft, getting more and more like EA with every release, will draw the franchise out as long as they possibly can (like Halo), which means probably a couple more intermediary games either between or after AC3. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing for us.... just our wallets.

IMO making next Assassin's creed in 17- 18 century and playing as a next assassin in past will be a little bit boring, instead of that i would prefer AC3 in Desmond's times. Where this guy will finally defeat his enemy and Piece of Eden will be destroyed or whatever

I would be down for some 18th century assassin's, maybe help start the American revolution, or the French revolution, I would also like 21st century Desmond, to kick some ass, hopefully with some decent guns!
its sure there is brotherhood 2[...]
Really? I mean, Brotherhood is amazing and i would gladly enjoy a ACB2, but i think it would be cooler if the next AC abandonded Ezio and went on to a new era.
Because in the end the whole series is NOT about Ezio, but the fight between the Templars and the Assassins over these powerful artifacts and how this fight goes on.

Because of that concept i highly doubt that any next AC will play in a time before Ezio or even Altair.
I like crsojos idea of helping start the French Revolution, but it doesn't have to be necessarily a time of big change, since the Templar-Assassin-fight takes stage behind the scenes anyway.

I personally would prefer that the next AC plays sometime around 1800/1850 and the last in Desmonds time, where i'm interested in how Ubisoft will then solve the climbing-jumping-thingy, cause jumping from the rooftops of New York...i don't know ^^
