I just got out of the castle and now I'm headed to Gould. I follow the blue marker and I wind up at

Do you mean when right after you kill your first alien(ceph)
then have to go to the FDR route?

Iam stuck there as well...but got a few hints off this board.
Look for a keypad or jump,as stated above.

go down the off ramp and push through the vechiles, i's a straight shot all the way to the cell and ceph fighting each other

u need to jump or power jump on the yellow coloured trailer and then on to the roof of the castle. The trailer is behind the two metal doors towards the right

Did you miss a certain checkpoint?
I had the same problem somewhere else in the game, and I just replayed the level going on the /exact/ path and it worked for me.
