How does one activate the console in Crysis2 the tilde key doesn't work, what file do you edit to bi

Tried it ingame and in both cfg files.... hmm, the beta version had to be fed with a cfg file placed elsewhere, will check that one out.

the console has only got something like 47 commands in total now, these are listed on this site as well as in the steam forum, bit of a pain the in ar** really

To get the console to open for me, I've had to switch my keyboard input (default input language in keyboard options)from Canadian French to English US. Once that was done, the console would open by pressing Ctrl+Alt+~ but I still get the "unknown command" error when I'm trying to input lines.

Geez, well I got the console working with adding -devmode at the end of the shortcut on my desktop linked straight to the game file not the launch file. I did not get a shortcut when I installed the game.

However none of the cheat commands work at all... so I am not sure how to be able to cheat. Anyone figure out how to cheat yet? or know of a trainer that works? I founds a few trainers but they don't work.

LMAO you realise what site you're on? You no aware of the Mr.Awesome team that creates custom trainers just for us great customers?

Updated to patch 1.1

However as mentioned by other members none of the commands work. If someone can point out which file needs to be edited to add those commands. I can figure it out from there.

I Have enabled the console in v1.2 but none of the commands work still. It's frustrating

I ended up playing the game without the console.
