The pack I made seems to be working fine. But when I save and load the game, a bunch of the arts is automatically mastered. I don't know why it does that. Can you look at my pack and see whats causing the game to do that?
    rapidshare.com/files/457490291/Shimazu.pack

I always thought it was the trainer that did all that mastering thingy since it only affect those that I hover my mouse on when I have it activated. Honestly, if it is not the trainer is doing that, then I do not know the answer.

If you have moused over the arts with the trainer button on (6) and ctrl-s and then ctrl-l, a lot of them will be done. It might have the same effect for saves too.
Always copy/save all the patch.pack files in a seperate folder and rename them. I always put orig in mine
    example: patch4orig.pack
I also always pull the patch.pack I am working on to my desktop so I know I am editing the right one as well as keeping it out of the folder. You shouldn't have to go back and edit an earlier patch.pack, It's up to patch4.pack and any units you edit there will override any previous ones (patch3,2/ etc...)so unless the units aren't on the patch4.pack (which they should all be as far as db files are concerned) you shouldn't have to edit them. I ran into that problem with Empire, was editing files in one pack and when I switched to someplace else the header said I was in a differ pack file, that's why I only edit the one on my desktop, so the program won't effect other files being there isn't any more to edit from. I hope that didn't confuse anyone but that method has worked for me ever since with zero crashes from my editing.
If you can't say it face to face, don't say it here!!

Just change reload time for the unit and it will change the time between firing. If you change the reload for matchlock to 150 you will see what I mean, same applies to any projectile unit. Changing the reload time is better being you change it on certain individual units (hopefully exclusive ones)rather than changing it on the projectile screen being if you do it on the projectile it will be for all units that use that type of projectile.

Try changing it's velocity in the projectile file. I have not done it, but if I am changing the speed of projectile, I would be playing in that column.
