The amount of auto-tone used makes her like an english version of a vocaloid (see Kagamine Rin and Hatsune Miku). At least that's the only major problem I have with her.

I think she is not the problem. the music and lyrics of which she sings of are absolutely dreadful. In addition to this, the music video of which she is portrayed in is entirely pretentious and out of context regarding her age...

To be perfectly honest, yes, i agree it's a very stupid song, and people just need to get over it.

Also, the company that produced it, it's basically a company that that pay a buttload of money to so that they can produce a music video with 13-17 old girl, who has no musical talent, and is otherwise quite unoriginal.

But the point is that we aren't the audience. All the pre-teen kids are! Same applies to Justin Bieber, but he is a 16 year old GUY which makes him liable to trolling.

This girl seems like a generic Disney singer to me, so its better to ignore her instead of having posted abuses that would do nothing but scar children of her age.

Its good to see that she is being strong and is willing to face majority of people against her song. So I respect her for that. Hell, I even respect Bieber for going through the trolls.

I agree that Ark Music Factory are to be blamed here.

They're responsible for auto-tuning her voice and coming up with idiotic lyrics. So why troll the girl? Troll them instead!

Sure they may have done a favour on the girl by making her or being responsible for her being famous in the internet...But how do we know that there was no business transaction between the two?

Auto-tuning ****es me off as hell, its better to write a song and let my computer sing it out with its Microsoft Speech API.

Auto-tuning is used to make people's voices sound better, especially for those who can't sing. Either way, I dislike auto-tune in its entirety.

The problem with Rebecca Black is that her voice got auto-tuned even though she actually can sing properly. I saw some footage from Good Morning America and they showed an acoustic version of 'Friday' and I didn't think she was too bad.
