Where do you find the savegames anyway? BTW I have tested my theory and I am on turn 87 now all techs done!! 2nd BTW... This kind of thing happened in the original Shogun.(CTD's)

Ok on a windows vista 64-bit system the savegames can be found at C:\Users\(Username)\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Shogun2\save_games
I don't believe anyone here was trying to blame the trainer or not appreciate the trainer and your hard work PWizard. I understand a lot of people whine too much and have no patience, but in this case people were just trying to figure how to use the trainer without the game shutting down. It obviously appears this is a DRM issue and people are just trying to see what and where the issue is and how to resolve it
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- EA is the anti-Midas touch company. Everything they touch turns to garbage.
i was never blaming the trainer or complaining about problems with it, i only wish the patch updates would resolve all the crash issues with the game itself from A to Z. and like the previous post i've also searched steam and total war forums and found same issues about CTDs its a widespread problems and modders who are trying to update their mods from empire/napoleon are taking longer than they want.

I had to take The Great War mod off of my machine because Napoleon kept doing CTD. TWC is the bomb! For MODS, that is, of course CH takes the trainer cake!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you can't say it face to face, don't say it here!!
Word of warning appdata is by default a hidden dirctory
Thanks, found it FYI: if you use %whatever% in search box it will come up. %appdata% is how I found it without going through folder options, then having to go through it again. That's if it's hidden....lolz

I had this happen with Medieval II and Empire. Was hoping they ironed it out this time, but every time they stick a time event in a campaign it always causes a problem. Too many variables to consider.
I didnt create the thread at all to blame the trainer, not at all. Instead created the topic as a place where we can try to identify the problem and fix it our selves. Unlike alot of the community, we are not so helpless and are a little more savvy to fix things our selves.
This problem is also cropping up not just from trainer use, but from mods and modding of files. I know alot of us here intend to be playing Shogun 2 for a while(Big fan of Total War), so once we all can figure out the problem, the more fun we can have with the game.
Honestly, alot of these problems are just what PWiz says, its the developers crap. Ever since the abandoned the old Medieval 2 style scheme for their engines, there has been many lackluster features and downright annoying development choices. Its a shame the developer has to alienate its fan base, in prusuit of DRM schemes that ultimately do not work.
Anyways, I've been wandering the Total War forums and a couple of the modders might have a file out soon to try to circumvent this annoying DRM, which will make modding files and anything else we want much easier.
