Assassin´s Creed: Brotherhood Message Board  

I went to settings > exclusions.
Browsed to the folder "CH Trainers" and selected it to be excluded.
Launch the Trainer. Still says I need to be connected to the Internet to authenticate.

EDIT: Went to generate an offline key for the 3rd time and now the trainer works! THANK GOD! Oh well I guess I'll have to make do with offline authentication.

Can you try one more thing for me pls...

Can you try a different trainer for another recent game, say for example Dragon Age 2 (you dont need to have the game checking to see if it authenticates) and also an older trainer like Dragon Age Origins.

Both Dragon Age II and Dragon Age Origins trainers worked. I am able to get authenticated.

Just with that one trainer

At least it is working for you, and hopefully you will not need to generate an offline key for future revisions of the trainer

I will leave it open, perhaps others can then use some of the steps provided to check if they are ok.

i'd like to also ask one thing.

it seems that all the trainers check for internet connection first and the key-file later.

unfortunatly when they do not find the internet connection (due to a firewall) they tend to crash and cant even check for the key flie.

so one is forced to enable every single trainer in the firewall.

it would be a great help if you could just reverse the order in which those things are checked.
that would be great and should not be to hard.

The best way? actually download and run sandboxie with the program and it somehow auth's perfectly!
