True,a female can romance isabel.
She says she likes women all throughout the game.
CONSTANTLY.

As far as romancing her with a male character,
i found that if you accept her quest and reply nice to her all the time she warms up to you more.

Of course i haven't finished the game yet,so...

BTW,she pretty much warms up to you from the beggining.
As long as your nice to her you have a chance.

Isabel is incredibly easy to sleep with and incredibly difficult to full on romance. Still, she's one of the more rewarding romances if you ask me and is hands down my favorite so far. I'm just now getting to Anders and I'll have to hit up Sebastian after that, so maybe one of them will trump her, but for now, she's the top of my list.

While it's similar, I still think the Zevran romance from DA:O was better designed. In fact, most of the DA:O romances seem to have more depth than these ones, but maybe I'm just being cantankerous because I haven't loved DA2 as much.

If you want a friendly suggestion? Do NOT romance Sebastian. Save yourself the grief. When romancing him you have to be female, can't ever give one romance line to anyone at all, not even once..and if you succeed in romancing him you only get a CHASTE marriage. She never has sex with him ever.

Many people have romanced him only to be totally let down, and it's a shame as he's one of the most attractive men in the game.
