sorry all the problems with the research option. i totally redid it to function as people are requestion. you use it the same way, except that you will only be able to unlock the current selected research item in one turn, as people are requesting. you can still mouse over alot of icons to make them ready to complete in one turn when they are able to be selected.
i didn't catch that it was not fully 'unlocking' the arts in the previous version, since i was able to build things when they unlocked. i did not do much combat so i would not have noticed those problems.

Thanks for the update man!! By the way, when we use the food option 999999(resets the next turn) i noticed that clan income SKYROCKETS into positive that next turn. Do you have any idea why isn't the game recognizing food and keeping it frozen when we move on the next turn? Thanks again for the update.

we've gone over this previously. the trainer merely gives you a ton of food DURING the turn you are in to reset the deficit. my guess is that the excess food from the option is converted to money when you press the next turn, which is likely a normal and intended function of the game.
i realize it is a pain to take 1 second to press the food button at the beginning of each turn to rectify the deficit you have due to creating massive armies with the trainer, but the trainer option works as intended and as described in the options.
the food total is created by several factors. i can work on this at a later date to try and 'lock' it, but basically your rice fields and etc. create a certain amount per turn. increasing this value 'permenantly' might not be as easy you think.
i decided to complete the trainer and post before we had a revolt yesterday rather than work 3 more hours reversing the tortuous function path to arrive at this total, plus we have OTHER huge game releases yesterday and today to deal with and i have had about 8 hours sleep total over the last 72 hours.
I want to thank you guys for all the hard work you put into creating these most helpful trainers. I know I do not post often in general. It's mostly because I don't really feel it necessary to complain but seeing so many others do it, I've decided to add a positive message for you. I appreciate that you get these trainers out so quickly for these big titles and that you even take the time to produce them for older and more obscure titles. Your work is greatly appreciated.
Should it be needed here's the updated files directly, unsure if it helps, Steam should have updated all regions and versions as far as I can tell (There's one entry for the game in the .blob archive and then sorted via different language entries.)
I've no idea if it differs from what you use if so it might not be useful but here's the files anyhow in case it might help, just trying to be of use, heh.
Perhaps restart Steam or re-validate the game data but that shouldn't be needed, as you mentioned perhaps the patch will arrive later today a certain US time-zone somewhere if it's time-zone restricted or something like that.
Options are great thank you but when i'm quickly enabling/disabling options its kind of hard to distinguish whether the trainer is saying activated or deactivated.
