Even with the .gda files I think they have to be flagged as you being champion to exist, unless they are given through the console.

And that won't be until so much later in the game. Duh.

If you playing by warrior, choose same .gda, it must be only one file in folder...

Nope. Still doesn't work.

Same its not working for me. I only have the warrior one in and its still not there.

Here's the mage champion set that I made and tested. It also contain the champion staff and another cool looking fire staff. Place the rewards.gda file in documents\bioware\dragon age 2\packages\core\override folder. You'll get the items after arriving in kirkwall cutscene.

For those that don't want to start over to get the champion armor set, just edit the rewards.gda file yourself. Find a quest that you haven't done yet, and add in the items that you want in rewards.
