Goto your social.bioware.com/ and log in, then on the left goto profile and go down to "Your registered game content"

Look on the list and find "The Black Emporium" and click "more info" either PC or Mac whatever system you have and new window will pop up. At the bottom a link to the file you will need to install for "The Black Emporium"

Found this on the STEAM forums. Hopefully it will answer the question as to why you don't see your pre0order content showing up in the DLC section of the game. You need to actually d/l it from Bioware's site and install it after redeeming your code. What a silly way to do this DLC.

Also, you have to download the Hi-Res Texture Pack from the PATCHES section and install after running the game initially.

Here's a great link detailing how to get DA2 up and running with all available DLC you own, as well as detailing how to get some extra DLC from BioWare for free (specifically, a mage staff).

Yep its just over 1GB in size, but people who have the Retail copy will have it on the disc.

    Ah, sadly, no.

Everyone has to download the hi-res pack, if they want all the DX11 bells and whistles.

The texture pack was finished after the game was content locked, so it's not actually on the disc.

Damn, I would have assumed to make people buy the retail that they would include it.

They could have done a Sacred 2 and included a seperate disc with it on it. Oh well long downloads for those with DX11 and Windows 7 :P

I don't think that's correct. The retail PC copy only has 7gig of data on it. At the Bioware forums, the download states that if you want to play the game on very high setting with DX11, then you need this download to make it work and it isn't already on the disc. You need a pretty powerful video card to use these textures according to the forum.

    Yeah and Windows 7.

Silly of them, people with slow net connections might be a bit peeved with the fact they have to download 1GB to get hi-res textures :P
