Well, I imagine that changing it such that Super Unit functions by locking in the health at the current value rather than raising it to a ridiculous value would fix the issue - although I have no idea how much work that would be, or if it's even necessarily feasible.

It should not be a problem. As I am blitzing them down easy as pie and I use the super uint.
It appears as though it only raises the health of some units - Eldar seemingly always, and at least occasionally Chaos Marines. I agree, though; it's definitely possible to take them down even so. I've taken to just using the resource options, however, as anytime a squad dies it's just a matter of requisition to get them back up.
On a related note, I've had some trouble with the Faction Resource function, at least with the Imperial Guard. If I use it too many times in a mission (still not sure just how many that is) it causes a CTD. Again, not really an issue, as it's never necessary to use it that many times. Just something to note.
Eldar HP is ridiculus after using trainer. Jumps to 15k take a bit of time to take them down + weak unit option tends to fail. Orc campagin gona be total pain. Duno about dependency. Its still wierd that computer would rise their hp (level is still the same, tested) and this would only affect eldars. Finished Space Marines campagin and only eldar missions got affected by that. Everything else works fine with no problems.
Then why isn't it applied evenly to all units and only noticeable in certain factions? I get the leveling, I see that in others as the campaign progresses. But when the option makes it take minutes to gun down a guardian squad with a predator tank I don't think that's simply auto leveling unless the super hp option affects xp and pushes it way beyond the standard limit for the game.
