I have a offline key for the trainer. But it is still asking to be connected to the internet or obtain a offline key which i already have.

Same boat as Oliver. Trainer worked last night but no longer works this morning. To the best of my knowledge the developers were releasing a patch today 1.0.11 -> 1.0.12. New patch is suppose to help the issues of traffic jams and the economy.

EDIT: 1:21PM EST. My problem above did not derive from the new patch, i went back and the trainer worked just the way it did last night for scenario 1 - 6 just fine. However, scenario 7 [Berlin Reunited] the trainer did not work. As it is just one scenario (no idea about 8 - 12 yet) i could live without a fix. Steam detected no errors on verifying files, but i will reinstall the game to see if the problem is on my end still.
Trainer worked great for me with retail version patched to 1.011 version. You must follow the trainer rules and alt tab out of the game. You will then hear a "ZING" and magically you have $100,000 smackeroos. Just what the doctor ordered. Thank you, thank you!
Latest patch for Cities in Motion is now version 1.012 and of course, the trainer no longer works. Please update the trainer to the most recent version available for the retail boxed game and gamers Gate. Thanks in Advance,
just got the game (retail) and cant seem to get it working. Just updated to the latest version 1.0.12 and the latest trainer being used.
Followed the steps. Fire the game up, trainer, F1 at main menu, choose sandbox (Berlin XL 1920), normal difficulty game is going, see the money up top left, alt tab, right click task bar and click "Show the desktop" goes to the desktop and i then click the icon for Cities in motion(in the taskbar) goes back into the game, un-pause the game and then press Numpad 1. Hear the voice saying activated and there's no change in my currency.
I have tried this with 1.0 and the earliest trainer and the latest patch with the latest trainer. Neither work, i have to be doing something wrong somewhere but im just not sure which step.
