    I'm not looking for an actual answer...just wonder which one of the above two came to mind or some third option I never thought of.

    Slurring as in blending words is what I thought of.

    Slurring is when your words blend together; like from an accent, a speech impediment or drunkenness.

    That is technically the same as legato articulation (through words)
