Hello, I did post that app on this thread and I do apologize I was only trying to help but DABhand is right. The app should not be used by anyone since I dont use it myself I wasnt thinking about the results if someone could of been cought using the app. I apologize again....
If anyone did use it I recommend that you reset ur achevemnts as soon as u can and delete the app!!
... no why on earth would cheating in Defense Grid get your account banned? It's your game, cheating doesn't effect the general community, so therefore you can't get banned. This game doesn't even have a multiplayer mode, so I fail to see how you can get banned for using the trainer.
Steam support is full of crap anyways.
Furthermore achievement unlocking via third party does not get the account disabled, been using it for a little over a year and have not experienced any problems. Achievement unlocking via CH trainers helping you out in game will also not get you banned. Just don't cheat in multiplayer (only idiots and rednecks do that) will get you banned. Using it elsewhere will not.
Spreading these awful lies, just causes paranoia, within the "cheat" community.
I agree with Nick, I believe in getting an achievement with all means necessary... but I don't understand how this trainer disables the achievements? Does DG:TA has a memory scanner?
I'm getting concerned after reading this thread. Can anyone confirm one way or another if the trainer still disables achievements and could result in a VAC ban? Thanks.
Not sure about achievement but since this game don't use VAC, no reason to worry about it. Look at store page, lower right if it says 'Valve Anti Cheat Enabled' to be sure.
