Due to Atari's current server issues/upgrades/maintenance (whatever they want to call it!), there may be all manner of problems experienced in game. A few are outlined below:
> Not able to login > Getting disconnected > Unresponsive controls in game (still running, but menu etc doesn't work) > Selecting a location on the map, or in a race, then randomly dropping through the floor, resetting, then repeating > Friends and other in-game inter-player features not working > 'Failure to load' error when entering menu (ESC) > Unexplained crashes (crash report popping up)
So before reporting any problems with the trainer or just the game in general, bear the above in mind. There will likely be another patch very soon, once they have finished whatever it is they're doing.
Its a crazy situation and nothing works in the moment.
Today I discovered many streets on hawaii. After disconnect (gone to eat) and reconnect all streets i discovered are again undiscovered, so i must do it again .
Its not a little bit waist of time to discover the streets again (more than 150 km )
Yeah, it appears that sometimes you don't instantly disconnect, so you just assume that you're still connected to the server. But then when it comes to a new area it fails to save your progress (which is extremely annoying considering your profile is stored offline).
They should probably add a feature in which will simply make you fall back into an offline mode, rather than lose connection and be thrown back to the menu. Surely that would have been a logical design decision early on!
