Im not talking about the trainers not made by cheathappens but posted on cheathappens. I'm talking about the real CHEATHAPPENS trainer which has the sound like
Can these trainers trigger VAC bans?
Is it safe to use Blackops trainer in ONLINE ZOMBIE MODE?
If you use the trainer in Single Player, you don't need to worry about VAC.
Don't use it in online play. If it even works online, your account may be banned, and Cheat Happens will NOT be held responsible.
VAC installs the Anti-Cheat directly into the Steam Client so there's not upkeep by the user. Valvue then creates their own servers on behalf of the companies that make video games for their platform. These are known as VAC Servers and the anti-cheat protection will monitor your game application for any attempts at hacking. When it does detect a hack, you're not banned immediately but you will be flagged to be VAC-banned. Once reviewed and agreed that you cheated online, you will be considered VAC-banned which means you will no longer be able to play on VAC servers for any game (yes a ban from one game carries to all steam games). I believe the first time you get one month suspension for hacking. After that it's permanent.
The VAC system does not monitor single player mode nor does it monitor private servers meaning that trainers should not set off VAC when not online on a VAC server (do not attempt trainers in online multiplayer settings. They are intentionally designed to not work and will cause quite a bit of damage if attempted)
