They mention they want to release a couple more paid DLC packages to help bridge the story gap into the final game. I pretty much thought they did this with the SHADOW BROKER DLC. Do you think they can make room to add another recruit to your team, that would be cool?

There could be DLC for after destroying the collector base and leading up to ME3.
EA is the anti-Midas touch company. Everything they touch turns to garbage.

Holy crap I love Bioware and this franchise in particular. I wonder if they will be as bold with the content in this DLC, the last for ME2 and maybe have it end in a cliffhanger on earth just as the Reapers attack like in the epic teaser trailer for ME3 that would be so cool Now my big dilema since I own the game on all three systems, which one should I purchase this DLC for

From Gamespot, can't wait until Tuesday to start playing this. Oh and no dilemma at all pjlambo, the PC version

BioWare is finally closing the book on Mass Effect 2. The developer today announced Mass Effect: Arrival, the final downloadable add-on for the sci-fi role-playing sequel.

Set for release March 29, Arrival sees Commander Shepard investigating clues to an impending Reaper invasion on the edge of the galaxy. The downloadable content will also see the return of actor Lance Henriksen (Aliens, Stone Cold) lending his voice to Admiral Hackett. The add-on will sell for $7 (560 Microsoft points).

    Arrival has a departure date.

While Mass Effect 2: Arrival is expected to bridge the gap between the second and third installments of the game, it's not entirely clear what Mass Effect 3 has in store for players when it is launched later this year. To date, BioWare has released little more than a teaser trailer and a description on the Electronic Arts storefront's product page that reads, "Earth is burning. Striking from beyond known space, a race of terrifying machines have begun their destruction of the human race. As Commander Shepard, an Alliance Marine, your only hope for saving mankind is to rally the civilizations of the galaxy and launch one final mission to take back the Earth."

Bioware states some of the key decisions you made in the two previous games will have some significant weight in the final game. What I think and hope, they are saying is you have the potential to make the big battle against the nasty Reapers easier or harder depending on how many alien races you were good to and or ****ed-off in the last two games. This really makes sense as far as the narrative goes. The Reaper threat is not only against the humans but all races. Everyone has a vested reason to defeat them and to form alliances. I can just picture a massive battle with the humans allied with Quarians, The Rachni, Turrians, possibly even the Geth to name just a few. I also think Shepherds rebuilt body, we will discover has some unexpected uses, possibly darker uses. I keep thinking back to that conversation with Miranda after escaping the lab at the beginning. She wanted to put a control chip inside Shepherd but the Illusive Man didn't want it. Maybe they did put one in after all. I still think Cerberus has some dark agenda and possibly that TIM might even be a Reaper himself. Whatever it is I'm sure Bioware's epic conclusion to their much loved trilogy will blow us away
