I select my four units one at a time and I use Num7 on all of them (doesn't seem to work when I select as a group). For some reason, enemy units are boosted too, obviously not to the same extent that I am, but so much that a lot of time is spent just shooting into them. Their health usually jumps from 500 to about 2500.
I use no other functions of the trainer. Is there a fix for this or am I doing something wrong? Thanks
I did some more digging, looks like ZephSunStrider might have found the answer: www.cheathappens.com/show_board2.asp?headID=94997&titleID=15549&onPage=6 It's on the bottom of the page.
Now the issue is why we weren't informed about this bug in the trainer's readme? This was the first trainer I've used since purchasing my account here, and having to dig around to find out why this happens is a little worrisome, especially as this outcome would have been clear to the developers.
I don't mind it if the outcome of the cheat can't be fixed. I do mind not being informed about it, especially by a service I pay for.
As has already been explained, it seems Dawn of War 2 tries to level the enemies to the level of your squads. So you can end up with some unusual health levels in your enemies, really high and really low. That's just how DoW is. Not an issue with the trainer. My only real issue was that this wasn't communicated to us users. Would have saved on time ans confusion. But no big issue. Trainer works well and I guess that's what matters.
But what am saying is its not a bug and it works perfectly fine.
Yes the game dose that if you actually looked properly into the game. DOW forums talks about it. Gees! Its not Our fault if the users do not read and look into the game they have bought lol!
I've actually said several times that the trainer is fine. Knowing about the game doesn't mean you will know how it reacts to a trainer. And that information wasn't made available in the readme nor was it easy to find in the forums. Relax. The trainer is fine, just would have been good to know all the effects it has on the game. Saves time and confusion. Thanks. Keep up the good work.
i created the trainer and this is the first i have heard of this phenomenon. how can i prepare you for something i haven't experienced? we put the trainers out sometimes within 30 minutes of the game being released to the public. there's no way to tell you if the game is going to modify the enemies to make them tougher for you if you have uber troops (which i think is stupid but whatever).
at any rate, the option to make super troops works on ANY troop you have highlighted. i cannot imagine WHY you would want to make a super enemy but you CAN if you want to. the option works on ANY unit you highlight. this is not a bug. this is simply a user choice.
