I use kaspersky AV to protect my computer. This blacklists some CH trainers, so I usually exclude those trainers and Kaspersky allows them to run just fine.
I'm fairly certain this trainer won't run on my system because I'm using kaspersky, which is named avp.exe. The trainer searches for this image and attempts to inject into it, but can't because it's Kaspersky first and Aliens Vs. Predator second. This won't even work with the dx11 version because it searches for avp.exe first.
This is my theory since I can't get the trainer to even activate. Other CH game trainers work fine. Is it possible to update this trainer to search for a different image than avp.exe? I renamed my game exe to aliensvspredator.exe in hopes that would resolve it, but in searching through the strings, avp.exe is there first, then avp_dx11.exe second.
I'm certain this is the only game that does this right now. I'm going to verify it by shutting down my Kaspersky for a moment. I'll post an update in a few minutes.
Why are you trying to run the trainer on the DX11 game?
