Regarding the Mega Trainer (STEAM), Unlimited Health, Stasis Power, Add....

Not entirely sure what's going on, but from time to time it seems like the 99 item cheat doesn't work. It's the only cheat I use (I don't use "no reload" or "infinite stasis", and while it seems to work fine most of the time, every now and then I'll find myself suddenly out of ammo, health packs, or stasis modules. Besides the obvious downsides of running out of ammo/health/stasis during a boss fight, it's a tremendous pain in the ass to either backtrack to a store or fight forward using only melee.

If anyone knows a workaround for this, or if I'm doing something stupid in the stores or inventory or whatever, please let me know. Hopefully the trainer authors could put any of that information in the read me as well, since I'm at a loss as to what's causing these random item disappearances.

This happens once in a while for me. Mostly with med packs. I'll be in a big fight and afterwards hit "Q" to heal up and find there's no med packs, even when it said I had 99 of them before the fight. Sometimes it occurs with only certain ammo types and never with others. I'm running the original retail version.

That's odd, because on my retail version trainer, I have the function on, and it's like the others describe, "iffy"...

about 30% of the time it actually provides effectively infinite ammo (and I do want the reload cycle, just not limited ammo), but the vast majority of the time I'm dropping and picking up ammo again to try and "trick" the game into thinking it's big stacks of 99 ammo for smaller stacked items.

Sadly for ammo that's designed to go to 100, you can't even use that trick.

The rest of the trainer works as intended without any problems, but the 99 items is sketchy for me.

    Any word on this issue?

I've had to resort to CoSMOS to sadly lock ammo into being infinite, but then it doesn't re-load the guns after expending a magazine worth of ammo, and I'd actually prefer the reload cycle be preserved...

I don't mind toting a stack of ammo for each nifty weapon in my inventory, I just want that stack to be infinite, so that even after a zillion shots and reloads, I'm still able to blast away.

As it stands, the 99 units in inventory just doesn't work consistently, and sadly most of the time it isn't working.

Sorry to nag, but it's still important (to me) that the 99 item feature works, and works consistently...

As it stands, it works maybe a third of the time, and when it does it's great, but the vast majority of the time it only LOOKS like you have 99 of an item when it's just the same number as it was before with a 99 quantity label on it (visual effect only).

That suggests to me that there is another address controlling quantities or their usage.

If the boolean that controls the actual consumption of an item upon its use (reload from an ammo stack, health pack, stasis pack, etc.) could be discovered and disabled, that too would be ideal.
