Dragon Age: Origins Message Board  

Trainer isn't activating on main menu or ingame, im playing via steam, i've loaded the game both after the trainer is loaded and during ingame still nothing wont activate, also i've moved it to game file destination still failure to load. is this trainer functionable on ultimate edition?

Check the trainer troubleshooting guide (usually the problem has to do with a conflicting program such as an Anti-Virus. CHU uses multiple security templates so even if you add one trainer to the whitelist or doesn't detect others, it still may be a problem)

i will check it out tonight once home, atm its only white listed. i will keep up to date. thanks

update: so turned off av and it worked, then looked for another way around the issue, i took the retail loader from online replaced mine instead of using steam loader (backed up of course) and white listed DAO in av and it works great, game now loads without steam! no more steam pop ups lol.

can you tell me how you got it working?

because i have the 1.04 version of ultimate...and i hear the confirmation that the trainer is on....when i am about to enter the game itself...it goes back to windows....crashes.

plz can you help me ?

can you specify you enable the trainer at the game main window or before you load the game? and is this steam version or CD (retail)?

So is it confirmed that the trainer works for the Steam Ultimate Edition?

Yes, it works as long as you follow the instructions. also a not you dont have to turn off your AV, i set mine up to exclude steam app, dragon age: origins ultimate, and the trainer. then it works with out lock ups. the trainer is fully operational. a lil tip though some of the trainer when you press the key will make a sound and you dont see points distribute, close the screen or press next through skill/talent trees then reopen it then you will see the points etc. dont add to many game will bore you! other than that this product is well worth every penny thanks to the builder all props go to him!

My version is cd(retail).

I can activate the trainer just fine, on the main menu screen. although when i try to load the game it crashes. Another scenario, i tried creating a new game. It goes smoothly until the character creation page. After i create my character and the loading screen appears it crashes again.

My version is 1.04.

It seems that it crashes on the loading screen which is when preparing for game itself.
