    Hey everyone

recently i got some money about $1100 and i wanted to upgrade my system i already have some hardware that ive researched but i need a second opinion my current system is as follows:
(the parts i show are the ones im upgrading)

    Case:
    Antec 600
    CPU:
AMD phenom 2 x4 965 BE not oc stock cooler
    Mobo:
    GA-790XT-USB3
    RAM:
    4gb of ddr3 1333

i have not made any mods to any of these but i wanted to upgrade i chose amd beacuse im just a fan of them the site i link the parts to is the place im buying them from

    RAM: 2x4gb 1333 ddr3
    Link
    CPU cooler: Zalman CNPS10X Extreme
    Link
    Case: Coolermaster Haf X 942
    Link
    CPU: AMD Phenom 2 x6 1090T BE
    Link
    Mobo: Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 Rev2.1
    Link

And all of this comes in at $1001 including delivery
the mobo im concerned about beacuse the haf x and most other cases have alot of fans but i didnt want my build to look cheap and i heard alot of good if not 9/10 reviews. So do you think this is a good upgrade for price and perfermance wise.

Wouldnt go for that CPU cooler, it will block the air flow to the back fan, the case isn't deep as you would think.

EDIT: Why not go for a safe water cooling method.

not considering an Intel X58 based Mobo? or perhaps the Asus Rampage III Extreme(ROG)? maybe the prices have come down somewhat.

i have to admit...Intel is expensive and with regards to price vs performance AMD would be the obvious choice. just thought i'd suggest an alternative

u're absolutely correct. just because something's affordable doesn't make it bad. no way. almost everybody has to stick to a budget.
