That's mean we need to wait for next update for fixing this problem or for those who didn't bought original game maybe need to w8 for razor or skidrow release
I have the same issue at chapter 7 (stuck), not recognizing Howard Phillips body. Have an EA download version of the game. Have u found a fix for this?
I had this problem too. The way I got through was to go into the room with the corpse, but don't grab him, don't damage him either. Then go to the array door and let it alarm. Then move back to the room and wait a couple of seconds for a dialog between Isaac and Ellie. She will tell you to get the corpse and take it to the array. Now pick up the body and go to the door. It will recognize him then. The body I used only had one leg, but both arms, I think. Good luck!!
It's an ATI graphic cards related error. I had a 5750 and switched to a gtx 580 and now it works fine. At least for me it fixed the problem. Well, I think cracks can create such problems, too. Anyways, if you ahve a legit version and get crash, try it with nvidia card.
I have 2 ATI HD 5750 cards in my pc (in Crosfire) and I had no issues playing DS2. So it is not something specific to that card.

Apologies with our first crack. Our newly coded Solidshield tool had a bug which was related to the VMs handling of unsupported x86 opcodes. This caused the crashing on level 7. We located the problem and fixed it. Dead Space 2 now plays past level 7 and to the end of the game without issue. /TEAM FAiRLIGHT
If you use pirated ****, don't whine on these forums pretty please. Just causes confusion for the rest who might have actual trainer related issues.

You need to continually mash the Action button. Simply pressing it once is not enough. This is the same any time it tells you to press the Action button in this game.
