You cannot be ethically obligated to be unethical.
Many argue that ethical rules can be relaxed under certain circumstances, but Insom does not present such a scenario and it is not up to the answerer to add one into the question.
But even then, it's going to take an even larger argument to make it an ethical obligation.
And Insom makes it clear that stealing the wallet will have no effect on the future.
Even if you knew Hitler was going to do what he did and blah blah blah, it is still unethical to steal his wallet.
Therefore, you cannot be ethically obligated to steal it.
The only sound answer to this question, as it was stated, is "no".
Didn't you folks take any philosophy courses in school?
The question was actually ripped straight out of an ethics textbook.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wait...Who are you again?
Well, there's not really any point in stealing his wallet. It isn't going to change anything, I probably wouldn't have known what was going to happen and I'm not a thief.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- ... at night :3
Of course I would! I'd take the money, take a big sh1t in it and put it back in his pocket.
But, considering all of the money hitler had and used to finance the holocaust was discovered to be counterfeit money made by the jews in hopes of saving themselves and their families, I do not see how it would do any good.
Hitler didn't believe what he was doing was wrong though he was killing tons of people, that sick minded monster, but that's not my reason.
No; if my family is starving then still no, ethically I could just ask for some money to feed my starving family then Hitler faces the moral dillema. There is never a good reason to steal; even to prevent genocide, even though genocide is much worse there is no reason that stealing is ever ethical.

I would steal to then give it to my kids and tell them to sell it for very much money in the future on ebay or something like that
Or i would just backstab the B@¤%h and prevent some off the things he was responsible for. If you have a 2% chance off getting caught stealing from him then the chance of a successful murder would be <80%
