okay I just downloaded version 1.15 of torchlight from direct2drive.com and not one the trainer options is working for me and I tried both retail and steam neither work and after waiting some time they both cause my game to crash any help would be appreciated thanks.

There is a huge difference between the Retail, Direct2Drive and the Steam releases of the game. So the Trainer hence won't work if it is not meant to support that release.

So you can know about anything that you are doing wrong which is hence causing the Trainer to stop functioning.

I'm having the same problem, re-downloaded the game from the Torchlight website...
