I'm kind of guy who likes routine. If anything goes out of my routine or something went wrong, I always think that something bad is about to happen. But most of the time I was wrong. Great things happened instead.

I usually stick to one name. Usually my nickname, and other names are just different variations of the name. (IE: With a number or a few capital letters)
Usually I go with my name or a variation of my name. Bad characters always get the name "Badass". In Fallout and Oblivion, however, I always name my character Jimbob, or Jimbob the Second, Third, Fourth, etc., depending which playthrough it is.
Some Germanic sounding name followed by "von Dhampir". Usually. Because I'm a dull person.
