Ok i am looking for a good rts wish seem to be rare nowadays due to companies that think that they need to change stuff which didn't need the change (C&C4 and dawn of war 2). so im looking for a good RTS to play, ive been looking on various sites and through lists of games but when i select the RTS i get game that aren't supposed to be in there in my opinion. so what i think is a rts is actual base building which need defenses so walls and towers such kind of things, i also love customizing like you could in the Earth series which i got working mostly on win7 although i crashes now and then. so if any of you know any awesome RTS games then please share them. ( i would prefer i they are no older then about 4 years but if really awesome they are still welcome) here is a list of what i have: Earth series most C&C games Rise of nations and legends sins of a solar empire supreme commander + 2 warcraft 3 sword of the stars universe at war star wars galactic battlegrounds age of empire (all) Ruse about all settlers civ 3, 4 and 5 stronghold collection starcraft 2 star trek armada (1 and 2) star trek Federation star trek New worlds Act of war anno series Black and white 1 +2 and exp Empire earth series Empires dawn of the modern world Home world 2 Lotr battle for middle-earth 1 and 2 lotr war of the ring also have a few total war games but i get bored with those real fast due to it being turn based.
already thanks for any help that could be provided
ok looks ok not base building but at least you need to think strategic like in world in conflict which i also have btw and forgot due to it being on top of my closet in collectors box. but im definitely going to check it out.

ok but as it is online i take it its against other players, and i hsould have mentioned it but i dont like playing online because i like taking the time to get either the base or my army the way i want like in supreme commander 2 i alsways build the base up till im sattisfied wich can take up to 50 mins before i actually attack but thanks tho for the tip! still checking the site of it to see what it all offers.

COH and Opposing Fronts r two games i noticed arn't part of ur collection. they're one of the best WW2 RTS's i've ever played. i suggest u try them out. for someone like me who once upon a time couldn't stomach the thought of playing RTS(being a hardcore FPS/TPS fan) they certainly made a believer out of me. just a suggestion.

COH has actual base building? when i saw the screens they gave me the impression that the game was more a sort of squad based game that you start out with a army and have to complete missions with that squad and are only able to receive more units by saving soldiers in those maps as i played a few of those kind of "strategy"games which isn't what i like but i just saw a gameplay trailer and it showed a building being placed so guess i was wrong which would be bad because then i can play a "new" game hehe

yea...there is base building in most missions...and resource collection by way of capturing strategic points. i think u'll find most of what u're looking for with this game series.
