They dropped the ball with that Instant Search. Do you have any idea how annoying that feature is? I rage everytime it tries to search for my partially typed word.
This is why I use Bing now.
You can use the Google Toolbar to get over that issue.
I hate any form of toolbars on my browser window. The only one I'm willing to put up with is the Bing Bar so I can get free MS points.
