XP or Windows 7?

    Why is that?

    I have W7 on 2GB DDR2 and there's nothing wrong with it.

    beacuse windows takes 1-1.5 gigs of ram leaving you with not much else.

    I thought with windows 7 its idle usage would vary depending on your total RAM, I have 4gb and with steam + opera open im using about 1.2gb. I also have a friend whose using win 7 with just the 1gb but he is a bit wreckless with this type of thing

    i use Windows 7 Ultimate x64bit with my laptop with 4 gigs and it rocks lol !

    from everything i've heard and read, i'd say windows 7, i'm planning on making the upgrade myself when i upgrade my current rig.

    We won't really know until final release, but if they can get compatibility right, then Win7 should be good for gamers.

    Windows 7 is already in final version and I haven't seen any compatibility problems.

    there is ... with old rusted application that based on some elements made for old systems or upper level apps like Security and utilities application on most cases but no problems at all with the new ones sure
