Do you think we may get a glimpse of a new console by Nintendo, Microsoft, or Sony at this upcoming E3? We are getting into the 3d era (who know's how long it will last of course) and memory is getting smaller and smaller in physical size. Personally I think next generation consoles will be released sooner than everybody thinks. Now obviously not next year, but possibly the year after.
i think the next generation of consoles r headed the Motion Sensing and VR way. that's where the future of gaming lies...a completely immersive experience.

I love controllers and keyboards. I'd rather exercise than do motion sensor. And 3D could be cool but I'm not buying yet another console or whatever to get it.
Things do seem to be going to the motion sensor way, which will be interesting but honestly, I know a lot of people who would prefer controllers and keyboards any day. If 3D and motion sensor was combined, it will be a trippy experience, it'll be like the game is coming out into our world and we can interact with it, although I suppose that 3D has its downsides, like constant shock when 'things' come 'flying' right out of the screen. I can imagine everyone ducking out of the way.
But I reckon 3D wouldn't be for a couple of years. Things are probably going to swing by motion sensor.

I really doubt that we will see even a hint of a new console at the next E3 and I hope that we don't see them too, my budget is a little too small to afford a spanking new console right now.
The worst thing console manufacturers could do is introduce more motion controlling and/or VR immersion. It would essentially limit their market to the under-25 age group (let's face it, when you get in your mid-20s, you can't do have the crap you could do five years earlier, nor do you want to), which has no money.
You don't want to try to do all this motion stuff with even more physical activity when you just got home from work and you're tired and sore. You just want to veg out with a keyboard and mouse or a joypad.
