This is in reference to the world in conflict trainer.

When I download the 1.011 version, the trainer does not have the standard Cheat Happesn icon, and no matter how many times I double click on it, nothing happens. nothing launche.

When I download the version before that, 1.010, it launches fine, but of course that version does not work with the patched version of the game so the game crashes.

Any ideas? I can use other trainers so I am reluctant to think it is my system. An odd thing though, I ran traniers for the game from other sites and had similar expirance.

Try everything it says in there

disable/uninstall all AV, firewall, etc before downloading and running trainer. never assume that any trainer will work like any other.

PWizard i am sorry but that is a totally canned response. First off I am not running any AV or fire wall and you and you and I both know AV would not prevent the executable from actually running, it would simply interfere with it starting by causing errors or bad functionallity. It would also not cause the icon not to show properly.

I tried every thing on the trouble shooting site. If any of that had worked, I would not have posted.

I just downloaded your trainer and it runs perfectly fine.

Everything I said still stands. If you cannot figure it out then take it to a local PC expert and let them do it for you.

unfortunatly I am deployed so that is not an option.

One thing I notice, when you right click and go to properties on both the 10 version and the 11 version, they have compleatly different sets of tabs.

The 10 version has the general, compatability, security, details and previous versions tabs.

the 11 version, the one that does not work for me, includes a program, font, memory, screen, and MISC tab along with all the others.

Is this the same for you? Do you have any idea why this might be happening on top of the other trouble shooting tips cause I have tried those.

Also, after a few reboots, now, when I double clikc the trainer, it says Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to acess the item.

Now I am clicking run as administrator.
