    My team - Mississippi
    Rival - Miss. St.

Anyone here have a deep hatred for band wagoner fans? God I hate band wagoners so much. For instance I am a big fan of a team in NCAA Football (have been since I was young). Well this year they didn't have a good year (which last year they were really good) and they lost against their biggest rival yesterday. Well after that so many fans on facebook converted to the rivals team. The rivals actually did good this year and did better than my team (which usually never happens).

In general, what do you think of bandwagoner fans? I cheer for my team even when the times get tough which is now.

    Thanks

Like bandwagon Red Sox fans? It only became cool to be red sox fan after 2004, that's when you saw them everywhere. That's when you saw the pink red sox hats. Not during the previous 80 something years.
And it might sound funny, but I would buy a O-Z just to get you in my bedroom.

I feel like bandwagon fans are that guy who buys all the trendiest stuff to try and fit in. He's the guy who's so obviously fake that you wonder if he was constructed in some factory in Kansas or something.

I mean, it's cool to casually like a team or whatever, but to me, bandwagon fans are those people who take it way too far and act like they actually are on the team.

sports like football are very social entertainment. people flock to teams that do well because they're more entertaining, and for the camaraderie of the fellow fan.

sports can be very emotionally gripping aswell. if you watch your favorite team lose, it can make the rest of your day very very bad. hence people will grow tired of watching their team lose regularly and start pinning their hopes on another team.

in hindsight....as the saying goes, if you can't beat them, join them.
