I have an interview at the hospital my mom works at and I have practiced what I am going to say. But I still can not push that feeling of anxiety, I get shaky and barely can speak. So any tips or suggestions?

If your wondering the position is called Radiology Support Helper, it's honestly a good way to get my foot in the door. UUgggh I am so nervous.

Relax, imagine you're talking to someone you've known your whole life.

You're at an interview to sell yourself, so remember what an awesome person you are, and remember to practice your interview with others.

Interviews are 95% based on your personality. You can be a bloody genius but it won't mean a thing unless you come off as likable.

So just relax, be yourself, and talk calm and clear.

And make sure you do some research on the hospital and the general field that you'll possibly be working in. They want to know the person asking for a job actually cares enough to know what it's about.

The person interviewing you will likely be as clueless as you in terms of what to say and do during the interview. The vast majority of HR folks are too far removed from the job you'll actually be doing to be able to competently conduct an interview, thus it's usually the best personality which gets the job.

The more you find it as an important and rare opportunity your stress and anxiety will grow more.
So try not to be so eager about it, be normal like you've got nothing to loose and jut giving it a try.

I found that practicing an interview with someone can really help conquer anxiety. I used to get real nervous when doing an interview, but after practicing with someone, I got over it.

Be professional, but don't be afraid to let your personality shine through. Dress well. Be positive. Don’t talk about your bad feelings or give excuses about a not so good experience. Be poised, and take notice of body language. Look the interviewer in the eye. Show interest in what the interviewer says. Learn as much as you can about the company/position before you go in so you can cater your answers to what they are asking for.

Don't be afraid to be a bit creative with your answers, I remember the first job I got I made the interviewer laugh when she asked me what my weaknesses were I said kryptonite. I'm not saying to use that answer, but try and stand out in a good way.
