Does anyone have Linux(Ubuntu) over here?
Windows is awfully sickening,I have to use it for gaming though...
I haven't tried many games on Linux, but Oblivion seemed to run fine, just like it does in windows,so do you know any other games that run well on "Wine"?

I have to ask how you find Windows awfully sickening. Windows is the most user friendly computer out in the market today, and you don't have to install stuff via a console... terminal for you mac/linux users out there. And doing everything else on a linux distro gets complexed if you're not an advanced user. (I know you don't have to install stuff via terminal on a mac, just trying to make a point)

I'd have to disagree. Any time I do fresh OS installs on other people's computers, I recommend linux first. I've found that most people prefer it to windows and I almost never get callbacks on 'something isn't working'

Ubuntu is far more user friendly for non-experienced and experienced users. The non-experienced can surf the web and do office related things without worrying about viruses and the experienced can make it do whatever the hell they want it to do.

As for gaming, my laptop isn't much of a gaming rig, but I've managed to get Age of Empires 2 running quite smoothly, and Warcraft 3 to a lesser extent. Still working out kinks in getting lan to work though (I'm terabad at networking)

Minecraft, being java based, runs great in linux too (although I play that on my desktop)
