does the trainer work on the limited edition version or is there no difference

having an issue here, which i think may have just screwed my save file.

i was using the add 1000 bounty in game, and after i got out, all the bounty added, but my level did not go up, and i didn't unlock any of the cars i was suppose to. so right now for cops i'm at level 6 in the career screen, but when i finish a race it says 8 because of the added bounty.

any ideas here? fix? maybe a lower bounty option?

To Caliber PWiz and rest of crew please don't let a few bad apples ruin your crop. I for 1 look for the trainers on a daily basis and appreciate every bit of work you all do!!! Thanks again and I am sure I speak for 92.7% of the community and members when I say this!!
