The best way to increase the years of how much a player on your team is staying in manager mode , you go to Players Contracts , and keep the years balanced with the salary example: Years: 2 and Salary: 25,000€ if you want it to become 3 years just keep the salary the same and the player would stay for 3years but if you want him to stay 4years then increase the years to 4yrs and only slightly increase the salary then you won't lose much cash after every match ... Why would I want to pay 25,000 who has initial salary of 3,000 anyway? When I get the contract renew with 9,000.
Also if a player is gonna accept, you should increase the years(more than 1) it's most likely he will accept.

man when you click on renew contract they automaticly increase the years from 1year to 2years and they would keep the salary for example 4,000 the same so you just don't change the salary keep the years 2 and keep the salary 4,000 and he would agree and if you want it to be 3years just slightly increase the salary to 4,200 only
