Hi ! I got version 1.3.5 of the game on Steam, yesterday, I think. I believe the current trainer needs an update because I get a crash when I try to use it.
Thank you !
Works fine for me. Same steam version, windows 7 x64. Do you have any anti-virus programs on? Are you trying to use the trainer in multiplayer? (in that case it will obviously crash)
The 1.3.5 trainer crashes for me also, before the game is even started. I upgraded my computer recently to a Dell XPS 8500 with Win 7 x64, a Core i7-3770, 16GB RAM, DX11 and AMD Radeon HD 7700. I don't have much re-installed yet besides the games and AV (Avast).
I turned off my antivirus, tried running as Administrator, tried various compatibility modes, and nothing seems to help.
I tested all my CheatHappens trainers, and the ones for Civ5, Dragon Age 2, Fallout NV and Gothic 4 also crash (have something in common?). The other 15 CH trainers work just fine, including Borderlands, Deus EX, Fable 3, Mass Effect 2, Saints Row 3, Witcher 2 and others.
OK, I uninstalled Avast, ran the trainers as admin and they still crashed. I went through my list of installed software and found the culprit. After uninstalling "Windows Essentials Media Codec Pack 4.0 [64-bit]", all my CH trainers now load just fine (without having to run as admin). The following web site is where I obtained the codec pack in case you'd like to debug. Guess I'll have to find a different one that works with all the trainers. Thank you for you help.
Hey, thanks for the great work. I had an issue with the trainer while I was playing the new velvet edition of the game. I just needed to download the 1.3.5 patch for free and all was resolved.
This is the second trainer in as many weeks that won't run--closes down immediately. I don't even get a chance to launch the game?
Win7 / IE10 installed.
Funny thing is I don't think it will matter since if you use the controller the keyboard/mouse are locked out. You can Alt-Tab back to desktop but there is no mouse control. Sad...
I feel bad for the poor bastards who run this website. Answering questions, day in and day out, that simply require a small portion of common sense and a desire to not go running to a forum thread to raise hell. Makes me pleased to give them money every year. They deserve it.
