I think the trainer stops me from picking up the fuse for a task in call of the dead. Anyone else get this or is it a common glitch?

If I may go ahead and say that for some reason the game keeps crashing when I hit F1. Anything I could do to work around that?

dont use the German version of the game.

Yeah I didn't buy the game in Germany, nor am I currently in Germany. I thought that may be the issue. But since I'm not there (I've read your post earlier with "Don't use the German version" and hence I don't use the german version. There is a different issue.

I would recommend going through the troubleshooting guide then. Most likely something on your system blocking or interfering with it or you game has not patched to the newest version.
