Title. Why am I not allowed to place anything in the 2nd quickselect slot?

You know what? I was curious about that too, I'll have to look into it more myself.

Its the change ammo quick slot(i.e you want to change form A.P. to H.P and back)

Can that be changed at all? I don't really use different ammo types... too much to carry.

I cant see a way for changing that slot and yes it is rather annoying having it there.

yeah it cant be changed as far as i can see. i think its hard coded might be wrong tho. Try asking in the nexus forums. they might know of a way. I certainly dont.

I had a look for something for it I found a tempory fix for it tho but ave not tryed it. its on Nexus

Unfortunately remapping the change ammo key doesn't make the 2 key available for a quickslot item. If you want it changed, I suggest going to the official New Vegas forums and making noise about it.
