The text file was updated. I can only think it just wasn't properly posted to the site along with the trainer itself. If you click INFO on the trainer rather than opening the seperate text file, it should show all the correct info. In any case though, this is nothing to do with the 'supposed' bugs.

FYI, this trainer has been tested on both Late Night Euro/UK + US, on Vista x64, Win7 x86 and XP SP3 setups. The 32/64 bit doesn't/shouldn't make any difference either. Nor should OS altogether for that fact, on these trainers.

Once again, I cannot fix a problem that I cannot replicate. I'm not saying that it's not working for some, just that at this stage i'm not able to do anything about it. I'm not about to try and "do it another way either" at the risk or breaking it for those that it is working for. Cheers.

I understand this, but at the moment - no one has actually claimed the needs option to be working - so I really don't see what the risk factor here is other than losing Infinite Lifetime Points from the trainer?

Not one person has successfully gotten this to work...and I just don't understand how you are getting it to work when not 1 person has stated it has actually worked in terms of that specific option for them. I'm not saying that it's ignorant or anything to not do it, because you simply cannot replicate it - it makes sense not to, but not for the reason that it's actually working for anyone else...because...I have not been seeing any posts from anyone going Needs working! .

One person in this thread has had it working. Also, just because no-one else has reported it working, doesn't mean people haven't got it too. People are always quick to chirp up when something is wrong or when they are unhappy with something, as opposed to when something is fine, that goes for most things in life. At any rate, i'm not going to sit here and enter into some petty debate over it.

The admins here always work to help us time after time.
Sure it's annoying that it don't work for some of us.
But if he can't replicate the problem it's hard to fix it.
Someone who have the same problems than us is mabye the only one who can fix this for us.

PhoenixCH? Can the fact that many of us who has the problem also has the UAC disabled. I have used "Windows 7 Manager" to remove some setting to get a smoother windows. And they disabled my UAC.

I use Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

I doubt it has anything to do with "UAC" as this is not specific to the OS -as already said before.

My intention was not to start a debate, but I can understand why you would get defensive about it...but one person claiming it works, among the pages claiming it doesn't does not exactly vouch for it.

I have tried this on all 5 of my PC's - and believe me its not fun installing all those sims on these PC's, and it did not work on all 5....At this point I don't know why this is, but I have tested it on Windows 7 / XP/ and Vista. I infact installed vista fresh and XP on two other PC's I had the files backed up on to see if it was an OS difference, but it has not worked at all.

This sounds more like a version problem (trainer version mismatches the game version).

I also tried doing it ONE game updated patch at a time, but this also did not help

e.g. Sims 3 latest version,

e.g. then Sims 3 + WA latest versions

and so on until I got all of them on 1 PC.

In any case - no go. and yep the version matched

Without wishing to detract from your work, I must be honest. It's simple, if I pay as a user I want to download this and run to the first and not doing a thousand and one configurations, which were unaware of the problem is and I do not, are supposed to pay for someone to fix that for me. We also tell you this, but I repeat, your trainer is for paying members .... payment, so what is that minimum hold your disappointment of the people.

But I also say something in your favor, at least you had the detail to make a trainer for uncompromising people like me.
