So I was just looking through some older posts because I'm bored.

Then had a brilliant idea! I wanted to see how many posts I posted from September 24th 2009 to today. I found out that on the 87th page of my post history was a post on September 24th, 2009. Therefore I posted 870 between these three boards and any title specific board there is to post on.

So I'm going to start with September 24th of 2006, which was the year I joined and find out how many posts I made up to September 24th, 2007, and so on and so on.

And for all of you poop-poop heads who would say something about...

1) Deleted topics
2) Post count deductions
3) How posts in OTD don't count to your post count.
4) How blog posts count to your post count.

...DON'T!

Also I suppose you can be specific if you want, but I'm rounding. And YES! This might take a few minutes of work for you depending on the speed of your internet connection. But not only will you be contributing to the most awesome topic you've ever seen...but it is in fact, quite interesting to compare the number of your posts from over the years...

Ok I'll start us all off...


September 24th 2006 - September 24th 2007 = 6,410 posts
September 24th 2007 - September 24th 2008 = 3,530 posts
September 24th 2008 - September 24th 2009 = 2,670 posts
September 24th 2009 - September 24th 2010 = 870 posts

Summary: Looks like about half of my total posts came from my first year. Then dropped nearly in half by the second year. Took another drop for the third year, but not nearly as much. Then this last year did not even break a thousand. Makes me wonder how many posts I will have by next year...geez.

Edit: You might be wondering why I started at the 24th of last month and not today. Well I originally made this then, but I was unable to post it for some unknown reason. However I was able to post it now!

Looks like my numbers have been dropping steadily too, but I'd be surprised if my numbers don't go up this year... then again I do also have a ton of deleted posts this year too...
