So what mods you guys installed?

I installed a hud related mod due to ingame being horrible. Basically, "AsukaHUD + Asuka Stats", =P Other then that. Just waiting for more mods. Also, some mods from FO3 can be converted over... =/

That makes sense, they used the same engine and everything, and I don't think they even touched the graphics. Hopefully Fallout 4 will use even better graphics. Though of course player home mods are one thing that will not work.

about 50% of the mods can be ported with a little work. around 5-10% won't work because they require content from the DLC or just something that wasn't included in new vegas.

The rest can be ported over just fine, it'll just take a lot longer.

So far i'm working on porting all the weapon mods i used in F3 and a bunch of the outfits as well if all goes well.

I think it will be a long time before you see a FO4.

They will milk different cities to use

I would like to see them perhaps use a different continent just for originallity to see how things are different in say Russia, Britain, Italy, South Africa, Australia hell even China.

Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

Well, seeing as the series has ALWAYS (Except for Fallout 3) been set in and around the area of the Pacific Southwest U.S. (California and Nevada and the areas around there), and the only reference to places outside the U.S. being the Canadian Commonwealth (Who have an actual equivalent to Vault-tec to excuse their survival), and the People's Republic of China (Of which for all we know was wiped out, since the only Chinese Remnants in Fallout 3 are ghouls whom have all but completely lost track of time and their own physical decay), I doubt we'll see any non-U.S.A. based Fallout games other than MAYBE an outing to use a character and storyline based in the Commonwealth, and even that is pushing the ropes of the Fallout canon.

Personally I would like to see a Fallout game centered around the pacific Northwest (Oregon, Washington State, Northern California, etc.). It'd be interesting to see how the local flora and fauna reacted to the radiation, and of course maybe seeing a local landmark I recognize from first-hand sight in its post-apocalyptic glory.

We have pretty varied wildlife here, they could have many mutated variants, and some possibly friendly or recruitable as non-human Followers. We have foxes, nutria, beavers, various rodents and rabbits, snakes, spiders, scorpions, etc. for them to work with.

Not to mention we're home to the Silicon Valley, which could possibly be used as a Brotherhood of Steel Technological Storage and Research site what with access to various pre-war records (And the fact that Google has a server farm and massive fiber-optic network up here).
    Yo.

haven't completely decided yet, i know many of the armors i use are already in the world of being ported by it's own author, so i'm just gonna wait for them to do it.

Right now i'm reinstalling fallout 3 so i can actually get to work on the weapons i want to convert. Right now i'm planning on at least the Deep Eyes Nocturne guaranteed, and possibly the M60, SPAS, and a few others.

As far as outfits go, most of the ones i'm using are going to be converted by their authors, but i think a couple might not, Crysis Nano suit, and the ODST armor.

I also want to extract the ranger combat armor (the box art characters armor) and make a new version thats faction neutral with a new texture. problem is i'm not sure how to do that so i asked for help and am just waiting now.

Whew. At least some people actually stayed on topic instead of veering off on "other talk" which should be started in another thread.

I am still loving this Asuka Hud. :P
