New Vegas seems to be crashing for me whenever I run it with the trainer. It was fine on my first playthrough (before I bought the DLC) but I am going back to it now, and have almost constant crashes. The game lasts about a minute before it crashes.
I completely deleted and re-installed the local game files as was suggested above. The trainer is running in admin mode.
Is it possible to make the trainer recognise the game via fnv4gb.exe? I always get the 'Trainer cannot find game' message'. I tried adding the Steam AppID via the fnv4gb.exe shortcut in the Properties/Target box but that didn't seem to activate the large address aware mod, rendering the whole '4GB' thing useless and 14gb worth of my mods that depend on it would crash. If I launched the game from the EXE straight away the game would work smoothly, but no trainer whatsoever . At the moment, the trainer will only work if FalloutNV.exe is active in Task Manager. I've been looking for a solution everywhere but it seems the only way to utilise the 4GB Enabler is to launch the fnv4gb.exe straight instead.
I'm having an issue with the trainer, I deleted all mods/addons (including caravan pack), told Steam not to update so it wouldn't redownload all the addons again started a new game/file and the trainer still crashes the game.
I know mod/addons aren't supported, and I'm not asking CH, or anybody to make a trainer the does, I'm just wondering if theres a way to get the trainer to work.
